An investment of TRY 100 billion to GAP

The total volume of the Southeastern Anatolia Project exceeded 100 billion Turkish Liras thanks to the funding transferred to the region as a part of the "Project on Integrated Resource Efficiency in Agriculture and Agro-based Industries in the Southeast Anatolia Region" that is implemented by the Regional Development Administration of the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) and UNDP and the project also became the largest development project in Turkey and one of the most important ones in the world.

The total volume of the Southeastern Anatolia Project exceeded 100 billion Turkish Liras thanks to the funding transferred to the region as a part of the "Project on Integrated Resource Efficiency in Agriculture and Agro-based Industries in the Southeast Anatolia Region" that is implemented by the Regional Development Administration of the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) and UNDP and the project also became the largest development project in Turkey and one of the most important ones in the world. 

Regarding the project that aims to provide integrated resource efficiency in agriculture and agro-based industries, Mehmet Açıkgöz, the Vice President of the Regional Development Administration of GAP, said: "This is an important project for our region. In agriculture and agro-based industries resources must be used in an effective and efficient manner, especially during manufacturing processes. We initiated this project to ensure that."
